Causes: Energy Resources Conservation & Development, Environment
Mission: The purposes for which this organization in formed are as follows: for the advancement of energy and water conservation and expansion of new energy markets through educational workshops and seminars; to operate exclusively in any other manner for such purposes as will qualify it as exempt organization under section 501(c)(6) of the internal revenue code of 1954, as amended, or under any corresponding provisions of any subsequent federal tax laws covering the distributions to organizations qualified as tax exempt;to conduct scientific research that promotes energy and water conservation, alternative forms of energy, sustainable design, and low impact development;to manage the agency's future headquarters, a showcase energy efficient building where the organization will conduct research mentioned in the previous purpose statement.
Programs: 2011 power up energy expo provided 300 participants with an educational and technical experience to all aspects of energy and water efficiency, alternative energy, and sustainable design.
2011 sustainable energy featured the latest exhibitions in energy technologies, resource-efficient products, and service providers to 100 participants.
e3 summit: energy, economics, & the environment brought together 150 participants to educate and promote energy efficiency as a cost-effective energy resource under existing market conditions and promoted the use and expansion of alternative forms of energy.
