in september of 2017, a category 5 hurricane, caused severe damage in the caribbean, especially on the island of anguilla. The center saw an immediate need and, under its charitable purpose of seeking social justice, established the anguilla united relief fund as a separate restricted fund of the organization. Any funds solicited are clearly identified to donors as intended for use solely for hurricane relief efforts. Further, expenditures related to relief efforts will be limited by the organization only to funds collected or committed for hurricane relief.
