Causes: Philanthropy
Mission: The gray family foundation is a supporting organization of the oregon community foundation (ocf). The foundation makes grants that further the mission of ocf which is to improve life in oregon and to promote effective philanthropy.
Programs: The gray foundation supports efforts to allow every oregon child to attend outdoor school by the time he/she completes 6th grade. We work with schools, school districts, educational service districts (esd's), outdoor school camp providers, and the friends of outdoor school to bring resources for this remarkable educational opportunity that transforms student lives. Environmental literacy and other programs promote civic engagements. The gray foundation believes that developing civic responsibility among oregonians will build long term sustainability in our communities.
