Mission: The organization is committed to the cultivation of resources to assist the city of atlanta in the preservation, restoration and beautification of grant park, and to promote its educational, cultural and historical significance.
Programs: The organization maintains grant park in conjuction with the city of atlanta, and sponsors work days in the park. Work days are an opportunity to educate, build support for the park, and make an environmental impact. Activities include painting, installing fencing, planting, mulching, pruning, weeding, and general cleanup. Each year, over 1,500 volunteers from diverse groups comprised of business people, students, and professionals donated their time to maintinaing the park. In addition, the conservancy sponsors specific capital improvement projects to improve the public facilities and structures in the park.
