Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Human Services
Mission: Grace like rain ministries is committed to extending gods love to families who have suffered homelessness, parental incarceration, financial devastation, and other times of severe need by providing programming, training, education, resources, housing and tangible assistance.
Programs: Provided one on one mentoring and case management through the use of volunteers within the community. According to each families case management goals and plan, we assisted with rental assistance, transportation needs, childcare and other miscellaneous needs. Glr also seeks to foster community relational support by providing monthly get togethers for families and volunteers to come together, along with classes and other learning opportunities. We partner with other local non profits to refer families for other services and needs. We also provide furniture, household goods and clothing through community non cash item donations. Through our services, 30 families were provided rent assistance, transportation, supplies, food, child care, emergency housing, as well as financial counseling in 2017.
