I am new to the North Texas Book Festival and so far it has been a blast! I have currently volunteered to design the scavenger hunt for the festival and it's going to be AMAZING!!!!! Cannot wait to see everyone there and please bring the kids. This organization is committed to a love of reading and is essential to our community!

The work of NTBF is unparalleled. NTBF is committed to supporting libraries, reading and literacy in the north Texas area, doing so with a membership of dedicated members who work tirelessly each year to raise funds to be able to award substantial grants. The impact their grants have made on school and public libraries, and their so important work supporting new authors/writers is impressive.

The North Texas Book Festival has helped small libraries and other literacy programs in the North Texas area through awarding monetary grants. Fundraisers are held throughout the year in order to give the grants to needy entities. It also gives Indie and Small Press authors a venue to showcase their work and compete for prizes.

NTBF is THE number one supporter of indie and traditionally published authors in the state of Texas. The programs, support, reviews, and staff work hard to open doors that otherwise wouldn't be open. It's a true pleasure to be a part of this fine non-profit.

I have been a member of the North Texas Book Festival, Inc. since it began in 2000. The mission of NTBF to promote literacy, and to encourage family interaction that will foster reading and the love of books has been important to me all my life. NTBF has met my expectations every year by providing funds to help the area libraries and literacy programs continue their work. This small organization has been able to donate over $65,000 to over 15 libraries and literacy programs - many have received several donations over the years. I highly recommend NTBF as a great nonprofit to volunteer with and as a great way to fight for literacy for all people. A literate person is brought out of despair and poverty by learning to read! What a legacy for each individual who has been helped by NTBF!

The North Texas Book Festival is dedicated to supporting literacy in the North Texas area. Through the grants they award, small libraries and other literacy programs on small budgets can keep going. The North Texas Book Festival also gives authors the opportunity to showcase their work through entering the NTBF contest and through the event itself.
