Mission: Goodwill industries of the inland northwest helps people with disabilities and disadvantages build independence and gain work and life skills within the communities we serve.
Programs: Donated goods program: collections, processing and sales of donated goods in retail facilities to provide revenue for training and work assessment programs in vocational services.
vocational evaluation and rehabilitation services: to identify individuals unique work interests, abilities, and any competitive employment barriers related to communication, mobility, work skills, work tolerance and self-direction through a paid employment assessment or other realistic work setting. In 2017, 4,241 individuals were served in the vocational evaluation and rehabilitation services program.
food service and printing: food service is provided to all employees and participants located at corporate headquarters and provide work assessments and training in the food handling industry. Ten individuals were provided work assessments and food service training during 2017. Printing services are conducted for the organizational needs and provide work assessments and training in the digital printing work field. Approximately fifteen individuals were provided work assessment and training in the digital printing field.
