Mission: Goodtemps temporary staffing services provides training and temporary staffing opportunities to individuals with disabilities and other disadvantaging conditions. Goodwill also serves displaced workers and people seeking to re-enter the workforce. Temporary assignments are often the "foot in the door" that leads to permanent placement.
Programs: Goodtemps temporary staffing services goodtemps offers persons with disabilities, displaced workers, ex-offenders, and people with other disadvantages, assistance in entering or re-entering the job market. Working collaboratively with other goodwill programs and community partners, goodtemps uses its extensive network of local employers to place individuals in a wide variety of occupations and skill levels. Workers receive weekly paycheck while gaining valuable work experience and contacts. Temporary assignments often lead to permanent hire. There are no start up or placement agency service fees for workers. Money management training, community resource assistance/referrals, and other supports are available to workers. In 2017, goodtemps provided temporary staffing employment to 518 people with an average hourly pay rate of $11. 55 for its workers.
