Programs: Rental of housing to homeless and transitional housing for newly released prisoners. Approximately 149 people were provided low cost homes for the year.
sixty-four volunteers donated 2,755 hours in assisting to collect and distribute food throughout the year for the food outreach program. A total of 5,093 bags of groceries were distributed from our pantry office, eight weekend routes delivered 1,560 monthly groceries to 130 low income families (296 individuals) living in the rural areas of leon county.
elder care services donated 3,575 hours of services for 205 elderly persons by visiting in the homes, providing food deliveries and transportation: bags of groceries were brought to the homes of 205 elderly persons on a monthly basis; 50 elderly persons received small home repairs, yard work, light housekeeping, and companionship to ensure their safety and ability to remain in their own homes.
