I have been assisting this His Kids Too! for over a year in the Tallahassee area. During the Covid-19 era, international travel has not been possible, but the need for taking care of the homeless, the needy, elderly, children, etc. has increased locally. Three days a week starting at 7 am food is delivered to those in need and several times a month additional items are provided in the afternoon. It's amazing what happens when we connect with those less fortunate and seek to offer them what God has provided. The solution to many of our societal problems will not come from government, but rather from the hearts and actions of individuals. I am thankful that His Kids Too! sets an example for serving others.

There is not enough words to describe how awesome, impactful, and caring this Christ-centered organization is and has become to people. Teresa is like a Tasmanian angel, if there ever was such a thing, working tirelessly and with a tornado-like passion brings hope to many orphans, underprivileged, and thrown out individuals in society as well as the citizens of Ukraine. I had the privilege of participating with her and her team and I truly believe I was more blessed because of this experience being a Ukrainian native myself, and seeing how loving Teresa is towards my home country. War, pestilence, and sleeplessness does not and will not stop His Kids Too from showing the same love that Jesus showed to the little kids of Israel 2,000 years ago. I cannot wait to come back again and serve with this amazing organization.

I have been blessed to travel to Ukraine twice to work directly with Teresa and Rich Fillmon. The difference they have made in the Donetsk region is AMAZING. They coordinate with the local government and local missionaries in order to carry out their work and have made a positive impact on so many. They are truly the hands and feet of Jesus Christ!
I will always support His Kids Too! because I have seen first hand how many lives they have touched and what a difference they have made. :)

Hiskidstoo, Teresa and Richard fillmon give their lives to this non profit organization. Their dedication and willingness to serve the people of Ukraine through harsh conditions and war like atmosphere is inspirational. Hiskidstoo does not let any child go unnoticed. I have had the pleasure of being apart of this Organization for many years and can't wait to return again!

Teresa Fillmon, her family and volunteers of His Kids Too are unbelievably dedicated to helping the orphans, widows and anyone else in need. They minister to them, feed them, clothe them and just be a friend. They are there to let the people of Ukraine know that someone cares about them and that Jesus loves them! I love Teresa, her family and His Kids Too, for all they do.

My family recently met Teresa Fillmon, director of Hiskidstoo, after learning that they deliver humanitarian aid to the same shelter that my 2 sons had lived in before we adopted them. Teresa is an amazing woman who has devoted many years of her life to helping the orphans and widows in Ukraine. She currently works with 27 orphanages, delivering aid, speaking to prospective adoptive and foster parents, collecting donations and countless other projects to help in the survival of the families and children in Ukraine. They recently opened a community center for the children in the town of Dzerzinsk to have a place to go to have fun and learn about God. She, her family and many volunteers work tirelessly in their efforts. She works hard at keeping up the www.hiskidstoo.org web site so that people can actually see that all of their time, energy and donations are being delivered and appreciated!! Seeing is believing and I encourage everyone to go to the site, see the pictures, watch the videos and fall in love with these amazing children!

This is a fantastic organization working with orphans, widows, persons with disabilities, and people in need in Donetsk region in Ukraine. Their work has changed since the conflict in Ukraine, and the level of danger and need has risen dramatically. my family members were directly impacted by the work of HisKidsToo when they distributed water and food to people just a few weeks ago. I am very thankful there are people and organizations like HisKidsToo.

Our children's elementary school had a walkathon; half of which the proceeds benefited my son's former orphanage in Makiivka, Donetsk, Ukraine. I called upon Teresa to do the procurement and management of over $3K in funds we collected. She was savvy, resourceful, and followed up several times to ensure the items and merchandise did not land up in the wrong hands but truly did benefit the children in this home. I can't say enough about Teresa and her staff and the selflessness she exhibits. If I won the lottery, hers would be on the top of my donation list.

I contacted Teresa Fillmon in April 2009, when our son's former orphanage in Makiivka, Donetsk, Ukraine was the recipient of our children's school's WalkAThon. Teresa made an inititial visit to the home to speak to the Director, to investigate what their needs were for the 80+ children who resided there. Teresa also demanded that the items which Teresa and her volunteers purchased be stamped with "Donated by His Kids Too- NOT TO BE RESOLD". Then, the items were procured from local wholesale suppliers that Teresa knew or contacted for- clothing, shoes, vitamins, 2 refrigerators, an industrial meat grinder (Of all things) toiletries, towels, etc. THEN, as promised when she initially met the Director, Teresa and her volunteers followed up to ensure the donations were used for the ORPHANS who resided there and not resold. Sadly, as many adoptive parents of Eastern European adoptions are aware, corruption and misuse of funds is rampant there; due to the desperation and poverty in Ukraine.

Also, the thing that truly impressed me was that Teresa added our son's former orphanage to their regular annual mission schedule. Because of the generosity and selflessness of the His Kids Too organization, these children have been given Christmas boxes/stockings filled with gifts, necessities that they probably never would had possessed. Also, Teresa and her staff visit this home in the Spring and Summer.

In addition to visiting orphanages in Ukraine, Teresa, her husband and family have devoted their lives to building a community center in the Donetsk region of Ukraine that assists kids and adults, who probably have "aged out" of the orphanage system in Ukraine. There is a special place in heaven for Teresa, her family and her volunteers. By the way, NONE of the funds collected were used for administrative costs; ALL of it benefited the kids.

I have no official affiliation with His Kids Too!, other than I have followed their work for almost 14 years and have contributed to them on occasion. This group is God's love in action.
I first spoke to the Executive Director, Teresa Fillmon, when I was preparing to adopt from Ukraine. She was very gracious with information and although we had already contracted with another group to help with our adoption, I admired the work they were doing.
I was impressed with how this group functioned on a shoe string and gave so much to the orphanages and widows and handicapped they ministered to. Everyone loves kids and it's easier to only serve them, but HK2 helped all kinds of people with needs.
Over the last 14 years, I have watched what they do and the mission to bring Christ to the people of Ukraine has never waivered. They meet people where they are in their lives, just as Jesus did. They minister to souls, as well as to bellies and bottoms. (That is a reference to how they provided diapers to orphanages, and hospitals for invalids, as well as formula, food and vitamins.) They have given food and water and clothing to the least of those there.
The supporters of this mission have given of their heart and have been given an opportunity to be blessed by that gift. Each gift of time, money and talent can be traced in pictures and reports of those who travel to help in person.
This organization has stayed the course, even through the recent war raging around them, even through personal sacrifice of time, money and safety.
I know that they are good stewards of any contributions I make.

In the summer of 2013, my cousin and I traveled to Ukraine to volunteer with His Kids Too! I knew of the organization because they had helped my parents adopt my younger brother from Ukraine. He is a blessing from God. While in Ukraine, we taught Bible Lessons to children in the community, had a camp for children with special needs, and provided aid for the community. It was such an amazing experience. The children receive the love, attention, and basic needs from His Kids Too. The organization provides classes, experiences, kindness, food, water, shelter, to anyone in need. I am so grateful to have been apart of it and cannot wait to see what His Kids Too has in store for the future.

His Kids Too helped us through our adoption journey. They walked us through the process of adopting two children in Ukraine, matching us with a Ukrainian native who served us as facilitator and translator while in country. It was not an easy process, but would have been impossible without His Kids Too. Their work serving children, families, invalids, and ordinary people in Ukraine is amazing. His Kids Too serves God by serving and loving those often ignored by the rest of the world.

We've been associated with HisKidsToo for almost 10 years and they have always been focused on helping orphans, families, and the needy in Ukraine. They assisted us in adopting our special needs son from Donetsk and without HisKidsToo he would have been thrust away into a forgotten home an left to die. Even with the bombing and fighting going in their immediate area, lack of utilities and water, HisKidsToo remains faithful to their post and mission. They truly care for those in Ukraine and beyond!

We became affiliated with HisKidsToo in 2006 as we were seeking to adopt from Ukraine. Teresa Fillmon and her facilitators are the reason we were able to rescue our son, Christopher, a special needs boy severely burned when he was 3 months old. Without HisKidsToo involvement in orphanages throughout Ukraine, many children like our son would wither away with no hope.
We had the privilege to visit Teresa last weekend (7yrs later) and she is as passionate about the work as when we first met her. We fully support the mission and goals of HisKidsToo!

In June of 2013 I had an opportunity to work with Teresa, Rich, and other His Kids, Too volunteers in the summer Bible camps being offered at public schools and the community center. I was also able to assist in aid distribution of baby items such as diapers and other needs for children in the AIDS hospital, and items for the mothers at the maternity hospital. The need is very great and His Kids, Too is doing an excellent job of reaching out to those in need and doing what they can to help alleviate some of the hardships of life in Eastern Europe. The community center is a beautiful facility that daily opens their doors to the children and teens in their neighborhood, offering a safe place where children can play and learn. I would highly recommend this organization to those looking to donate or volunteer.

My husband and I wanted to adopt from the Ukraine. We found Cornerstone Adoption and this wonderful organization. We worked through the paperwork and after almost 2 years my patience had worn quite thin with the paperwork and bureaucratic issues. My husband managed to scrape together the additional funds to send me to work with this group for 2 weeks before our adoption was complete. Not only was I able to aide children in 25 different orphanages but I was able to experience and witness the life our future children lived from day to day. Eating the same food, living and working with some of the older teens as we did the bible camp and of course helping to deliver food, clothing, shoes and bible stories to shelters and orphanages. It changed my perspective and helped me to be more patient with our children when they were frustrated in their new home and world. All children are the same around the world – they only want attention, love and acceptance from adults. Language doesn’t matter, culture doesn’t matter – we are all God’s children and want to feel special and loved by everyone. This organization is trying to make a difference. The skills they are teaching the youth are basic life skills that we often take for granted because our parents or grandparents taught them to us. These children have few role models that are willing to spend the time to teach them these things. If you’re not able to go won’t you consider helping others to go and model God’s love, responsibility and acceptance to these children and youth?

This summer I was given the opportunity to help serve the Special Needs children camp in Dzershinsk Ukraine with the HIS KIDS Too director Teresa Fillmon. The camp encouraged the children to be themselves play and have fun , and to see God's love portrayed by all those involved in serving at the camp and to hear God's Word. We also delivered humanitarian aid to local baby and maternity hospitals, orphanages, shelters. I was able to see those places and get a feel for Ukraine. I became involved with His Kids Too ministries when my cousin contacted me about helping with a children's camp in Ukraine, where they had adopted her little brother two years earlier. While volunteering with His Kids Too, I taught a class of 20 middle school aged children during our VBS, spent time with the children that came to the community center on a daily basis and also helped out with a Special Needs Camp that His Kids Too hosted. This organization does great work for the people of Ukraine, young and old. Teresa Fillmon and her family truly have a heart for God and his work.

I started traveling with HisKidsToo in2000 and have made 15 trip through the year. In these years we have seen some changes but for the most part children are cared for very poorly. HisKidsToo has given thousand of articale of clothing , gifts of health care item shoes and many other needs have been supplied. In 2008 a grant was received to purchase housing for children leaving the orphanages to learn to live out in real world. There is on question ever dollar is used for the benifit of children . We have been involed in helping inslaved grils escape and live in safe places. Also working to free disable children from the hands of people who say they do not need a education are health care. With this grant funds for a community center has been built to have a place for children and adults to study about God and learn to trust other people as they have a very hard time trusting other.

I first became aware of the plight of orphans in Ukraine when my family adopted a little girl from the same region where HisKidsToo serves many orphans. This organization is hard working, diligent committed and passionate about helping orphans in this country. I know that the gifts I give will go to the kids in need. I have come to know one of the founders personally and have found her to have integrity and honesty, but mostly a passion to see orphans assisted and loved.

HisKidsToo! is awesome! My time in Ukraine was one of the best experiences of my life. Teresa is such a blessing, and a dear friend of mine. Ours was definitely a God-connection! She is the voice to a broken, voiceless world of abandoned children, orphans, and to a people without much hope. Are you wanting to go out into the world to shine a light into the darkness? Well, HisKidsToo is an amazing group to go with. They take care of everything you need, the experiences are real but not overwhelming, and the culture shock is countered by their knowledge and preparation. And with the orphans, even though there is a language barrier to start with, they still understand you and you will find that you understand them as well. Their need for love is huge, and the love you feel for them will exceed what you ever thought possible! They were always excited to see us coming and would run towards us yelling our names and giving us great big hugs! The time you are able to spend with the children is as good or even better to distributing the things they need. Working with HisKidsToo! gives you a sense of purpose and accomplishment as you see the impact your being there has. You may want to go to Ukraine to help others, to change their lives for the better...but I guarantee you that while that will happen, it is YOUR life that will be most dramatically impacted. Your eyes will be better able to see, once you realize how in need these people are and how equipped HisKidsToo is to help. Teresa is very respected throughout the communities she reaches and she is able to really find out what the people need and God provides! This year putting together some stockings for the Christmas distribution, I was remembering when I was able to be there to give out the gifts. There is not a better feeling in the world than giving a gift that so completely delights a child! Opportunities to help abound, from going on a plane to Ukraine to getting together donations. So pray about it and get going!!!!!!!!

I went to Ukraine with Teresa in 2000 to distribute aid to a hospital, orphanages and a children's shelter, and the precious children touched my heart. With indispensable assistance from God, Teresa and my church, in 2001 I went back and adopted two children from Ukraine. How they have changed my life! I applaud everything this organization does and touches, from distributing humanitarian aid, providing food, medicine and supplies to children and needy in hospitals, orphanages, and institutions, building a Community Center to serve children, providing Bible classes, building and operating foster homes, hiring tutors, rescuing sex slaves, assisting with adoptions, and much more. All donations are used for the needy. The principles and standards of this organization are of the highest quality, consciencously and prayerfully applied to help those in need and show the love of Jesus. I am a proud volunteer, donor, client served, and advisor. I heartily recommend His Kids, Too! as a valuable and effective nonprofit. You can go and see for yourself how many are served!

I have donated and traveled with this organization to the Ukraine and personally seen all the wonderful work they do for orphans. I never have to worry about the money and items that I donate, because this organization is honest and they do the most good for the orphans in the Ukraine than I have seen from any other organization. I feel more comfortable donating money and items to this organization than any other, because I know it will go to orphans in need- all done in the name of Jesus. The director, Teresa Fillmon dedicates such a large part of her life to this work. If you are trying to find an honest organization that will do the most good for orphans- turn to His Kids Too.

Currently I am a volunteer gathering supplies, lifting prayers and sending contributions, but I have worked as a board member and advisor. I have traveled with His Kids Too to Ukraine three times and helped deliver the aid they provide to the children and helpless in that area of the world. I've looked though boxes of clothes to find the right sizes for the orphans in Donesk (and many other institutions in that area) and tried on many different pairs of shoes! I've carried the orphan babies from the Hospital in Dzerzhinsk to the play area that His Kids Too begged that institution to design and decorate. Teresa, the director, encourages the nurses to take their breaks with the babies in this room, so the orphans can play with the educational toys and utilize the exercise mats that are surrounded by festive Shrek wallpaper. I've fed a bed-ridden orphan in Torez mushed bananas. Teresa found this institution in southeast Ukraine where many disabled children were forgotten; her relentless visits have provided medical supplies, clothes and fresh fruit--more importantly it has put the authorities on alert that these children are not forgotten. Another place she visits is the Children's AIDS Hospital near Donesk. They are given the beautiful new dresses/jumpers and toys. Then volunteers carefully play with them. My child didn't leave my lap--she just needed some individual time. These are just a few of the many stories I could write. It's why I give my time and money to this nonprofit organization. I have seen how funds and supplies have been distributed, and I've heard many children cheer, "Mother Teresa," in gratitude for the love she provides.

His Kids Too looks after orphans and they are the reason we adopted our daughter. The director of His Kids Too, Teresa Fillmon and adoption agent of Cornerstone Adoption Services, Inc. is the person who found our daughter in the baby house in Ukraine. She personally took the time to find someone to adopt her and we became good friends during the process. She was always available to answer any questions we had, even met us in Ukraine and introduced us to our daughters caretakers and staff while we were there adopting her in 2009. She is dependable and has a big heart for what she does. When the opportunity came for us to go back in 2010, I was happy to jump at helping Teresa and stay with her for Summer Bible Camp 2010, also delivering humanitarian aid to various different orphanages. I witnessed firsthand what this ministry does and the love and dedication they have to look after orphans is a blessing! I was so impressed God led me to write a book about this experience that got published in 2011, Chasing a Dream Where the Sunflowers Grow. :)

Our family has supported His Kids Too for many years. This orphan outreach program does exactly what it claims and uses the money and resources exactly where they are needed most--for the children and needy. My daughter has gone on two missions trips with His Kids Too. The work is hard but rewarding and His Kids Too goes above and beyond in it's efforts. One year, we had a missionary friend who was working in orphanages in Ukraine. During the coldest winter weather, he came upon an orphanage with no heat and many of the children had no coats or warm clothing. I contacted His Kids Too. They loaded a van and drove 8 hours across Ukraine to take supplies to and help a missionary and children they had never met. What a fabulous organization! I hope to go on a missions trip with them in the future.

We have supported His Kids Too! for 8 yrs now. Every penny we send goes to the orphanages and programs that they have to help the kids. His Kids Too! does a great job in Ukraine, working with aids babies, widows, and orphans in the orphanage. They just put up a community building to help the neighborhood kids have a safe place to play and learn about God. My husband spent 4 weeks ministering and helping build the deck and other maintenance this past summer and can't wait to do it again. We consider Teresa director of His Kids Too! our friend and a family member. Because of the work that they do, the orphans lives are improving. I would encourage you to go to www.hiskidstoo.org and check out all that God is doing through His Kids Too!
