Mission: To bring hope to underserved chinese children and youth, to heal the wounds of their minds, bodies, and spirits, to improve the quality of their lives, to provide them with developmentally and culturally appropriate educational opportunities and to help them transcend their personal childhood tragedies.
Programs: Great expectations program: great expectations enables high-school-age youth from extreme poverty who have shown academic promise to earn high-school diplomas. Provides funds for school fees, school lunches, text books, educational activities, and school uniforms. Influence social policy: work with the chinese government to move forward with providing more funding for gci programs. Specifically a) high school scholarships in yan qing county for all qualified disadvantaged youth and b) organic herbal farming in yan qing.
