Mission: TO FEED THE NEEDY!
Results: God's pantry served 5,822 individual and of those 1,881 were families. The pantry receives 2000 pounds of food monthly but there are times food must be bought (i.e. eggs, milk, butter) in order to provide healthier meals. Our vision is to do more to help the needy and we will do so with the continued support of generous donors, volunteers and staff. Please be a part of this great work, if you aren’t already involved.
Target demographics: The head of the household who is between jobs and needs temporary assistance to feed the family. • The household where income of both working adults does not make ends meet. • The single parent who is trying to move from welfare to self-sufficiency. • The family who, with food assistance, can purchase school supplies for their children • The senior citizen who regularly chooses between medications and a meal. • The local homeless people who have no income or resources for the basic needs of life.

Geographic areas served: Fighting hunger within our community .
Programs: A variety of food is boxed for each client by our volunteers. Items include an assortment of fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy, breads, staples, canned goods and meats. Two community gardens supply fresh local produce. Donations from our commercial and individual suppliers determine the items provided each week. The PANTRY staff also assists those with special dietary needs, such as babies, diabetics, etc.
