Mission: Global Nomads Group is a U.S.-based global nonprofit organization whose mission is to connect youth across distance and difference. We believe in the power of storytelling and meaningful conversations to increase young people’s awareness and understanding, address stereotypes and discrimination, deepen empathy and belonging, and inspire action. Our evidence-based, youth-designed, independently evaluated curricula connect youth with their global peers to explore and respond to the issues they care most about – from individual identity to global hunger to human rights. Whether participating in live conversations or exchanging stories in our online courses, young people are able to listen intently, express viewpoints, debate respectfully, and explore both the similarities and differences in their lives. These perspective-shifting experiences equip youth with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to pursue universal justice and dignity for all people.
