Programs: Governance: in 2013, iscale continued to coordinate the global initiative for fiscal transparency (gift), a cooperative effort of many organizations worldwide from various sectors and industries to advance good governance regarding fiscal policy. In the gift effort, iscale continues to work closely with the international budget partnership (ibp), the world bank, the international monetary fund, and the governments of brazil and the philippines to convene many other stakeholders from around the world to advance this common agenda.

livelihoods: in 2013, iscale also continued its work with girl hub rwanda, a joint initiative of the uk department for international development and the nike foundation to understand the social, political, and economic facets of the rapidly changing rwandan context in an effort to advance the well-being of rwandan girls. Iscale also completed work in 2013 with the international planned parenthood federation, western hemisphere region, on a project to develop an evaluation framework and tools for their international advocacy work. Iscale, also in 2013, worked with open society foundation's global debate program to conduct a high level program review and develop an initial monitoring, evaluation, and learning framework for the global debate program to inform its strategy and planning going forward.

innovations - iscale worked with the legal services corporation on developing common outcome measures for their grantees.

philanthropy: in 2013, iscale continued its work with the children's investment fund foundation helping them through an organizational protfolio assessment. Iscale also worked with another foundation on strategy review.
