Mission: Girls preparatory school inspires each girl to lead a life of integrity and purpose by engaging her mind, cultivating her strengths, and nurturing her self-confidence and respect for others.
Programs: Girls preparatory school is an independent college preparatory school for girls grades six through twelve with approximately 600 students, of which approximately 38% received financial assistance. During the year ended june 30, 2017, gps educated young women to be a strong force in the global community and to be recognized as models of active and ethical citizenship. Based on research that girls learn better in a single-sex environment, pursue greater levels of education, and pursue careers in stem fields in greater numbers than girls in co-ed schools, our curriculum focuses on the core values of respect, responsibility, discovery, and excellence. In 2017, gps graduated 78 students.
