Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Mental Health, Mental Health Treatment
Mission: Our mission is to increase positive awareness of Down syndrome through national campaigns, educational programs and by empowering individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the community!
Results: We have 37 locations open nationwide and we are able to service individuals with Down syndrome and their families at no cost to them. We are also unique because we make a lifetime commitment to our families to help them reach their full potential. Network wide we have offered over 50,000 programs, served over 16,000 families, logged over 150,000 volunteer hours and had over 850,000 website page views.
Target demographics: individuals of all ages that have Down syndrome and their families
Direct beneficiaries per year: 140 families by offering 1,700 hours in programming by 3,100 volunteer hours
Geographic areas served: Utah (Wasatch front area)
Programs: tutoring, cooking, drama, Language, Music N our Peeps, Fantastic Friends, Friends Fun and Fitness and so many more. All of these are offered at no cost to our families!
