Mission: Our mission is to equip our members with the skills, resources, and connections for them to establish a strong foundation for starting, running and effectively growing their businesses. As a result, our members, their businesses, and both the community and Haiti thrive. We serve our non-profit members as well as our corporate partners and their employees, through advocacy, leadership, education and support. We are an effective conduit for foreign investments in Haiti. We promote trade, cultural and humanitarian exchange to develop economic opportunities for Haiti and Haitian-Americans throughout the world.
Target demographics: Haitian-American entrepreneurs build and grow their businesses and to help young people of Haitian descent have access to a college education through scholarships.

Programs: Future leaders scholarship fund - educating the future leaders of haiti and the haitian community is an important aspect of fulfilling our mission. To that end, gahcci has established the future leaders scholarship fund. The purpose of the fund is to invest in the civic/professional growth and development of aspiring young men and women in haiti, and college-bound students of haitian descent in the state of georgia. Since its initial inception in 2014, sponsors and donors have helped raise over $10,000. To date, gahcci has distributed close to $9,000 in scholarship awards to eleven (11) high school graduates ranging from $600 to $1,000. In 2017 and beyond, gahcci seeks to expand the impact of the future leaders scholarship fund through our b. E. L. Initiative.
bel initiative - the bel initiative seeks to stimulate investments, job creation, and sustainability in haiti by driving business development, promoting entrepreneurship, and cultivating transformational leadership. The 2017 cohort was comprised of four (4) participants. Approximately $4,500 was raised to finance the program. In 2018, the b. E. L. Initiative (cohort 2018) will provide up to 10 outstanding young leaders from haiti the opportunity to hone their skills at a u. S. Higher-education institution for 2 weeks with support for professional development after they return home. The initiative focuses on key areas that can re-define the economy of haiti including, agribusiness, tourism, renewable energy and international business.
gahcc hosts a series of professional networking events, seminars and trainings throughout the year and is also working on an haitian art exhibit at hartsfield-jackson atlanta international airport for fall 2019.
business expo - the gahcci business expo is a free business-to-business and business-to-consumer networking event for the small business community. It's a mega mixer and conference for business owners, entrepreneurs, start-ups and decision-makers from around the world. It is the beginning of the fulfillment of the chamber's vision to be the catalyst for consumers connected to local businesses, and small businesses doing business with each other, forming micro supply chains, and teaming up to buy from and serve new and larger corporate vendors/clients. In 2017 over forty (40) vendors participated. The 2017 business expo attracted more than 150 consumers from the haitian community.
