Programs: Legislative monitor: weekly publication produced during the legislative session that describes and tracks bills of interest and meetings. Georgia environmental action network: the gean is a collaborative effort among environmental and conservation organizations throughout the state to educate and mobilize their members utilizing a state-of-the-art electronic alert system. List enhancement: list enhancement project takes the membership lists of participating groups, matches them with the public state voter file, and returns the lists to groups "enhanced" with new data. This enables participating groups to build their organization, and create more effective advocacy, volunteer, and fundraising programs. Annual legislative summit: gcvef hosted the fourth annual legislative summit, designed to craft a unified legislative agenda and set of priorities among georgia's conservation community. Representatives from at least 25 groups, some of which also have presence at the legislature, participated in this year's summit. Local land conservation funding initiative: working in partnership with the association of county commissioners of georgia and other conservation organizations, gcvef works to increase local funding for land conservation measures.
