Mission: We are a nonprofit organization that utilizes cultural outlets to connect to the young generation and promote tolerance, encourage education and self-expression among youth about antisemitism, racism and their brutal consequences. “GEDENK” means “remember” in Yiddish. Our creative campaigns and programs provide a platform for artistic self expression for the young generations of today to reflect upon the lessons learned from the Holocaust and other genocides that occur today, with the intent to raise awareness of the importance of increasing tolerance to safeguard a peaceful society. We utilize cultural and commercial outlets such as music, writing, dance, billboards and celebrities to communicate our message. We encourage young people to find common ground, appreciate our differences and create a conversation “where culture and tolerance meet.” Copyright Gedenk Movement, INC.
