Mission: The Garden State Watercolor Society (GSWS), founded by Dagmar Tribble in 1970, is a nonprofit volunteer art organization dedicated to the enjoyment and promotion of our members. Members 18 years or older, living in or working in the states of NJ, PA, NY and DE may join and participate in our annual art sale and exhibitions. We are geared to varying degrees of talent, artistic abilities and interests. We enlist knowledgeable, talented art jurors for our exhibitions and are proud of the numerous awards given at our lively and interesting rewards receptions, which are open to the public. https://www.gswcs.org/

Garden State Watercolor Society hosts several watercolor shows a year in the greater NJ area. Their accepted artists range from students to internationally known artists. In 2015, the juried show offered $5000 in awards and cash prizes. Visit their website at gswcs.com. There you can find out about membership, other artists, award winners, how to contact the artists, who are the jurors, etc. Just search "Garden State Watercolor Society" to find great recent articles in the local newspapers, involvement by other local art groups, and come to any of the GSWS events to see how talented this group really is.
