scholarship fund - to provide scholarships and work study grants for students majoring in any garden-related subject at an accredited college or university in georgia.
garden therapy program - the program was created to promote and develop more innovative service for the institutionalized and handicapped, including the deaf, blind, mentally ill, and retarded persons in hospitals and nursing homes, and prison inmates. The program is presently serving patients of state hospitals in rome, augusta, and milledgeville with a one-on-one relationship between the patient and the garden club worker.
