Mission: Gannon is a catholic, diocesan university dedicated to excellence in teaching, scholarship and service. Our faculty and staff prepare students to be global citizens through programs grounded in the liberal arts and sciences and professional specializations. Inspired by the catholic intellectual tradition, we offer a comprehensive, values-centered learning experience that emphasizes faith, leadership, inclusiveness and social responsibility.
Programs: Instruction & other supported programs: gannon university is an institution of higher education providing associate, baccalaureate, and graduate education to 4,343 students. The university employs approximately 245 full-time and 171 part-time faculty members.
auxiliary enterprises: provide services to students and staff including primary dormitory accomodations for 1,194 students and associated food services. During the academic year and summer sessions.
public service: the university supports several programs which benefit students as well as the general public. These services include a small business development center, a chamber orchestra, a leadership development program, and several programs whose goals include environmental and social concerns.
