Causes: Emergency Assistance, Human Services
Mission: Gallatin C.A.R.E.S. (Christian Association for Relief Economic Suffering) seeks to offer short term, emergency relief to those in economic crisis or need. We provide food for the hungry, emergency medication for those who are unable to afford it and clothing for those in need. We also assists with utility bills, prevent eviction with rental assistance and provide heating fuel during the winter months.
Programs: The thrift store sells good used clothing for all ages and household goods such as furniture, dishes and small appliances donated by the community. The thrift store reveune serves the purpose of giving to the Benevolence Assistance program. From the store within the benevolence program we serve those who need help from abuse,trauma,volences,medical,addications, disasters,and emergency assistance to individuals and families in Sumner Coounty.Gallatin CARES common mission is to serve the less fortunate in our community in a Christian spirit.
