Mission: The general purpose of the corporation shall be to assist in the physical, social and economic development of the city of gaffney and its environs by assisting the growth and development of business concerns and by strengthening the quality of the area's residential base and to engage in those activities which are in furtherence of or related to the purpose herein stated. The principal object of the corporation shall be to benefit the community by fostering increased employment oppotunities for the citizens of the area, lessening the burdens of government and combating blight and deterioration.
Programs: To assist with the enhancement of the physical, social and economic development of the city of gaffney, sc by providing incentive payments,the rehabilitation of the area's commercial base, and studies and feasibility plans to enhance tourism related employment opportunities.
