Mission: The Friends of the Sangamon County Child Advocacy Center, founded in 1999, grew out of the need for supplemental non governmental funding to provide a coordinated multidisciplinary approach to child sexual abuse investigations which recognize the needs of the children while demanding accountability for the crime of child sexual abuse/assault.
