Mission: Fresno american indian health project strives to provide excellence in a wide variety of services for the american indian community in a respectful manner with a high regard for cultural, spiritual, personal values and tribal affiliation.
Programs: Faihp successfully implemented all of its programs in 2013, improving access to health services for the fresno american indian population. During 2013 faihp had 2,546 encounters with over 366 clients from over 34 different tribal nations. Faihp also made over 1,095 referral to health service providers in the community to access primary health, dental, vision, pharmacy, and mental health professional services. For clients without health insurance nor an ability to pay, faihp paid for services. The agency also conducted a comprehensive community needs assessment.
