The Forest Hills Gardens Foundation is very dedicated to preserving the history and legacy of the Gardens.
Founded in 1909, Forest Hills Gardens, designed by principal architect Grosvenor Atterbury and landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr., is a quintessential example of an earliest planned garden community nationally.
This organization --- over a 100 years old --- has changed their name to Forest Hills Gardens Foundation. They do great work maintaining the archival history of Forest Hills Gardens (which the FHGC does not, since it is a maintenance corporation.) It is a 501c3 and relies on donations to preserve the history of Forest Hills Gardens for generations to come.
