Mission: To promote the welfare of the senior and adult disabled population in planning and service area 14 (fresno and madera counties) by supporting and assisting the fresno-madera area agency on aging.
Programs: Costs of providing office space for social service agencies with programs for the senior and adult disabled population. Services available include adult protective services (aps, law enforcement elder abuse units, older adult mental health, aged, blind or disabled (abd) medi-cal, adult day care, in-home supportive services (ihss), long-term care ombudsman, veteran's services, case management and caregiver programs, public guardian, information and assistance services, and a branch library geared toward senior citizens.
