Mission: Florida Love was founded in 2001 during Florida's worst drought in two hundred years. The organization grew from an individual's determination to promote water regulations to her neighbors. Armed with a stack of water management district fliers, Heidi Aspen Rhoades distributed the information to every mailbox in her neighborhood. From those days of beating the streets, Florida Love has blossomed into an organization that promotes ecological restoration and land management. We are dedicated to facilitating and promoting land managment needs to public and private entities. Using a holistic and synergistic approach to ecological restoration, Florida Love incorporates public outreach, on the ground restoration, and volunteer coordination to achieve our mission. Florida Love is a growing organization that wishes to become the finest non-profit land managment organization for Florida's unique private and public land needs.
