Mission: The mission of first refuge ministries is to share the gospel of jesus christ by offering essential services to those in need within our community. Our belief is that every person has worth and value since they are created by god. Our goal is to minister to the entire person by caring for their spiritual, emotional, and physical needs, ultimately offfering hope and healing through the love of jesus christ.
Programs: During 2016 the organization provide medical services to 713 individuals; dental services to 1,099 individuals; 583 counseling services appointments; 133 chiropractic appointments and the food pantry served 7,632 food parcels. These accomplishments were related to helping with pediatric services, flu shots, immunizations, health screenings, food for the hungry, financial assistance, counseling services, support groups, and aid in finding other needed resources in the community.
