Mission: Consumer credit of minnesota is committed to helping our clients by understanding their situation & making recommendations that will help them achieve their budget & debt repayment goals. We strive to maintain training & quality systems that will allow our counselors & client service team to provide a positive experience for our clients. We commit to continually improve our quality system. We also provide relevant, practical budget/debt/credit education to churches, schools, employers & other community groups.
Programs: Debt management plans: in 2014 we counseled 480 clients. All clients received budget & credit counseling. Out of the 480 clients counseled we set up 98 debt management plans for clients to pay unsecured debts back to creditors through our program. In return the creditors will reduce interest rates & monthly payments for the client.
pre-bankruptcy counseling: in 2014 we issued 21 pre-bankruptcy certificates through our counseling program.
