After working with Filling Tummies today, I am happy to leave a review and encourage others to support groups like this who fight food insecurity. We all see the cost of food rising and many, many people are in need. We like for kids to be healthy, but more than that we'd just like to know they are being fed and not going hungry. Every little bit helps.

Awesome time with Filling Tummies, who is a Tithe Charity for the Red Day Run. We like to support them during the Red Day Run fundraising event Hosted by Keller Williams Realty each year. So much fun while supporting a good cause....even if you'd rather walk or participate virtually there are options for everyone and this ultimately helps support buying food that is given back to the community.
We were able to benefit from this group at a drive through event, due to coronavirus. They were quickly making bags inside of the bus and handing them out the window. We were pleasantly surprised to get the freshest of foods. Our entire family was able to enjoy, because the bag was loaded full with apples, oranges, grapefruits, cherry tomatoes (the whole package) pears, kiwi, avocados, bananas, plus oatmeal, crackers, goldfish and some other snacks the kids adore. We are really blessed that Filling Tummies and others have stepped up to give, especially when things have been hard due to Covid. Thank you Filling Tummies, when we are able we will be givers too.
Wonderful organization! We met this team at a back to school event where I was a vendor. I learned of all the great things they are doing to drive out hunger in Oklahoma. I was lucky to see the bus up close and the smiles on the kids faces as they visited the bus. We just happened to be supporting the same event and it was a blessing to see what this group is doing. They are fun and the kids really enjoy the "shopping" experience. They are fighting hunger and encouraging health!
Food insecurity in the US is so much worse than we'd think. I really like the fact that Filling Tummies shares fresh fruits and veggies. Kids are given a variety of items to select from it has a positive impact when kids are able to enjoy healthy foods at an early age. To think that so many kids are hungry on a daily basis seems unreal, so giving back to support their needs is the right thing to do.
Working in education, you get the opportunity to enjoy children, but often times see things that will hurt your heart. We are always looking for ways to help children who may be suffering in one way or another. Food insecurity is one area where our hearts go out to children and families. We are forever grateful for groups like Filling Tummies not only give to the children, but include each and every child at the school so they will not have to feel different from their friends. The children said shopping at the bus was like a field trip, except the bus came to us. High five Filling Tummies!
I had a great time volunteering with this organization during a "Back to school" bash. The event was filed with activities for the kids, a firetruck, games, and school supplies. We were there greeting families for about 3 hours in Oklahoma summer heat, but it was worth it. The families were especially excited to to fill their bags with fruits and vegetables from the school bus. I think the kiwi fruit and avocados were the main attraction, which was surprising to see. It was truly a rewarding experience.
The looks on the children's faces as they approach and enter the bus are priceless. The smiles, the high fives, the sounds, and the bulging bags of food the children are happily struggling to carry warms my heart every time.
It makes me feel good to know that when we are volunteering with this group you get to see the people directly impacted in a positive way. Giving back is something that we all try to do, but sometimes find it hard to get around to, so we volunteer when we can and I set up Filling Tummies as the recipient on AmazonSmile which is really easy to do, and you know you are giving back indirectly every time you make an order.
Filling Tummies is currently featured by Metro Family Magazine for work done to support the communitydurinf the pandemic! Super organization.

This is a great charity that is making a difference in underserved communities. You can witness the passion and commitment these folks have to taking care of the kids. Food is medicine and the benefits of providing growing children with the fresh, whole foods they need to thrive is a great cause.
I love the energy and caring that this nonprofit brings to the children that need it most! Sometimes, people turn a blind eye to things that make them feel uncomfortable and Filling Tummies is shining a bright light on this need. When it comes to hunger and nutrition we need to remember those who need it the most; thankfully, Filling Tummies is filling this need. Unlike any other, this swanky mobile pantry drives into locations that need good food the most. They also provide food to our honorable senior citizens. This nonprofit is doing good works!
This charity is absolutely amazing! They are local people taking care of kids at the local level. Many of the big national groups say they are feeding children, but we never see them! The children get the backpack program by the food bank, but its just a hand full of food and not all the children qualify to get it.
Filling Tummies focus on fresh food is great & it was so wonderful for them to come to our school and provide all of the children (100%) with fresh food and in a very fun way. The kids were able to fill one bag full for the weekend so they could share with their family. Its huge. The children were also exposed to mangos which many had not tried before. This group is providing way more than food. They are showing these kids love---our school is 100% free & reduced lunch, and many would go home to nothing. The kids were soooo happy! We love their bus idea. It's nothing like standard feeding programs. Every city should have a buses like this, stopping at all the schools!
Filling Tummies is such a fantastic charity! I have had the pleasure of volunteering with them and words cannot express the joy and fulfillment in being able to provide kids with HEALTHY foods when they may have gone without. Their motto is 'Feed the Body. Feed the Soul' and that couldn't be more true. Keep up the amazing work! Our communities need Filling Tummies! And it doesn't hurt that the bus is AWESOME!
OMG! What an experiance! I volunteered for their first stop a Green Pastures elementary school and my time as never been better spent. Lines and lines lif students paraded through stuffing their bags to capacity. I had so much fun helping the students and keeping the food bins full. Somehow we, able citizens, need to help ensure that Filling Tummies continues to be able to help those in need.
Filling Tummies fills the gaps to help children that may be missed by other organizations. The Filling Tummies mobile pantry takes fresh fruits, veggies, and healthy snacks to schools, parks, and other locations with food insecurities allowing participants to fill their shopping bag, as they choose. Volunteers assist patrons answering questions, educating on the exotic offerings, and even double bagging shopping bags when necessary. Filling Tummies is doing what has never been done in Oklahoma before. It was such a blessing to see firsthand all the excited faces and little hands reaching into the baskets to choose all that they wanted. "I'm shopping!", one child said with a smile so big that it melted my heart.
This organization, Filling Tummies in Oklahoma City is wonderful. They are feeding children in Oklahoma fresh fruits and vegetables that may be too expensive for families to afford. They went to Green Pastures Elementary school in Spencer, Oklahoma and all of the students were allowed to fill up their bags without the typical limitations. For kids who don't always have food at home this it huge! They are covered on the news and you can literally see how excited these children are. I'm happy to participate as much as I can as a volunteer! It warms my heart. They are making a lifelong impact in these kids lives.
