Mission: Fetal medicine foundation, inc. ("fmf") is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose primary purpose is to improve the health care of women and their fetuses. Fmf sponsors educational activities (medical conferences, workshops, seminars, and courses) to teach the newest methods to improve obstetrical care and the health of the fetus to physicians and other health care providers around the united states and abroad. Fmf also coordinates research data and studies to develop new approaches to assess fetal health and methods to treat high risk pregnancy conditions. In furthering it's mission and exempt purpose, fmf holds money for a division using the name varadi ovarian initiative for cancer education ("voice"). Voice raises money utilizing a volunteer fundraiser to solicit contributions that the organization uses to fund medical research and education specifically related to ovarian cancer.
