I was in Washington DC in May of 2019 for Police Week. I was at the FOP event walking around with several members of my department. I was very excited to see a FCPO booth. I stopped by and spoke with the men there. I spoke with them about an internal investigation that was ongoing on me. The Investigation was in regards to my Christian faith and some allegations made. I am the department Chaplain and am not shy about talking about my faith. The Men at the FCPO listen to me and reassured me. They then took time to pray with me regarding the investigation. It meant the world to me to be around other believers. I have since been exonerated of any wrong doing as far as my faith. Praise Jesus and Thank you FCPO for being there.
I started my Law Enforcement career back in the '60s while I was still serving the first 10 years of active duty, including some southeast Asia vacations, of a 42.5 year USMC & USMCR Career.
When I joined my first civilian agency in 1973 (Anaheim PD) we had an instructor in our academy who introduced me to FCPO. As I rose in rank and changed agencies many times from municipal to county and federal, I always held on to the fellowship or initiated similar groups on the agencies I served with. In FL, GA, MD, VA, PA. The Bible points out that Iron Sharpens Iron and I have always believed that "Tin" Sharpens "Tin" (Back in the day, our badges were often in various locals referred to as "Tin"... I am now a 49 year veteran of law enforcement and will rarely be found without my heater and my Bible, even though I am now a senior chaplain and instructor for 3 LE Agencies, 5 Veterans Organizations, a hospital, and a church... as well as a strong advocate for FCPO and I have renewed my connection by joining a recently chartered local chapter in Athens, GA.
The FCPO network I have built over nearly 5 decades of service to My Savior and my community has enhanced the many ways I am able to serve my chosen professions. There really needs to be more organizations like this one and the wonderful membership of fellow Warriors for Christ. They really exemplify Romans 13:4, Ephesians 6:11 and Psalm 144:1
I have been a member of FCPO since 1995. In 1995 I was taken to my first FCPO Bible study where I met a number of other Christian Cops. We met every week for about 90 minutes. We would enjoy a sack lunch and fellowship followed by Bible study. As much as I love my church, it was FCPO that taught me my Spiritual disciplines of prayer, study, reading and meditating on scripture. In 1996 our FCPO Chapter was challenged to read through the Bible in one year and we did and most of us have continued with that discipline since. We studied scripture, figured out how to apply what we studied at work, and held each other accountable. It was FCPO that helped bring the Bible to life for me and taught me that living a Christian life on the job as a LEO was a true sign of strength not weakness. Do I have regrets as I look back over my career, yes. But because of FCPO and our accountability to each other I was able to finish my LEO career well. What other profession is there in the world where a person can dial 911 and have someone dispatched to minister to them at the worst time of their life other than Law Enforcement? Thank you FCPO.
"... For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil..." (ROMANS 13:1-6)!
My experience with FCPO was in Washington. D.C. at Police Week. I received several boxes of Police Bibles free from FCPO to give to fellow officers. As a retired Detroit Police Officer andChristian, I appreciate FCPO ministering to my fellow Officers and sharing the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with them! They are true soldiers(2 TIMOTHY 2:3) in the Lord's Army! May God continue blessing them and their ministry, as they serve L.E. Officers in reaching them with the Gospel, God's Word, help, and needs. All for Jesus and His glory, for what they do! AMEN! Love you my Brothers &Sisters of FCPO!
PROVERBS 23:26 "My son, give me your heart,
And let your eyes observe my ways.
IN HIS GRIP(JOHN 10:27-30)!

I proudly served my country (during the Vietnam War), my community (as a LEO and eventually an FTO [Field Training Officer], and as an EMT [level 3-Paramedic], and in the field of education:Teacher, Administrator). I am now serving as a Crisis Counselor (having "retired" from education). I counsel individuals who are experiencing Post Traumatic Stress Injury due to their life events. I particularly focus on First Responders in Law Enforcement, E.R. and those who may be thinking of Suicide. I have been a member of FCPO-USA for approx. 10 years. Thank you FCPO for your support and guidance!
As someone who sees the day-to-day operations of this ministry first hand, I am thankful and blessed to be associated with FCPO-USA. This organization is ran with the greatest Christ-centered integrity and is always focused on reaching the law enforcement community in the U.S. for Christ. Your prayers and financial support make a huge impact in fulfilling their mission.
As a young police officer with the Chicago police department I connected with a group of Christian cops who met once a week to talk and study the Bible. We became aware of the FCPO and applied to become a chapter. The FCPO was a big help to me throughout my 32 year career and was a stabilizing force for others as our chapter grew. I would encourage every officer to join. If there is not a chapter near you, start one!
