Mission:
Our mission has remained the same through the years: to reduce the overpopulation of cats in our community by following the guidelines of TNR. We trap, neuter and then release cats back to their colonies where they are fed and monitored daily. We attempt to remove all adoptable cats from the feral populations and find them loving, pre-screened homes. We try to assist individuals in the community with their stray problems and help them with low-cost spay/neuter voucher programs.
Programs: In the thirteen years since we began our trapping and neutering program, we have spay/neutered over 5800 cats. We are currently fixing an average of 20 per month through the best low-cost spay/neuter facilities in the area. Every cat we trap and are able to bring in is tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, given all of their shots, treated for any medical condition they might have and of course, spay/neutered. No cat or kitten is released back to their colony until we are sure it is 100% ready to resume its life as normal.
