Mission:
The purpose of The FAWCO Foundation is to implement the philanthropic concerns and global interests of FAWCO specifically by aiding their charitable,educational and scientific programs and by supporting women and children throughout the world. THE FAWCO Foundation is committed to FAWCO’s support of the United Nations Millennium Goals. FAWCO is a network of independent American and international volunteer organizations representing private-sector American citizens overseas. FAWCO consists of over 75 clubs throughout the world. The FAWCO Foundation is the philanthropic arm of FAWCO.
Programs: Six education awards recognize academic excellence. Five are awarded to university students who are children of FAWCO Club members. One is awarded to a FAWCO Club member who is continuing their education at the university level. The Special Challenges Award allows students who have special requirements for learning.
