Mission: To provide relief to employees of the companies comprising the farmers insurance group of companies and their families who have encountered a sudden financial hardship, and to engage in other charitable activities permitted to be carried on by other organizations.
Programs: Farmers employees make donations to the fund that are to be used to provide relief grants to other farmers employees and their families impacted by emergency hardship beyond their control. Employees who make donations cannot restrict their donations to any single employee.
the fund can also be used as a flow through vehicle for donations to be granted to any 501(c)(3) charity as described by the internal revenue code. 100% of the donations are granted to the designated charity. In 2017, the organization issued grants to various charitable organizations based on fundraisers held throughout the foundation's operating territory including united way and the american red cross.
