Mission: Since 1984, Family ReEntry has operated under the mission statement, ??empowering individuals and strengthening families to reduce crime, violence, abuse, and neglect?. Existing solely to assist a vastly underserved and often forgotten population, our clients benefit from our mental health and educational programs by transforming the challenges of crime, violence, substance abuse, physical and emotional abuse, poverty, and maladaptive belief systems into opportunities. They become better parents, responsible partners, and productive members of their communities.
Target demographics: Family ReEntry provides behavioral health (mental health, substance abuse treatment, counseling, etc.), domestic violence treatment and education, mentoring services to children and youth at-risk, and reentry and support to and former criminal offenders and their families. Individuals are referred by the criminal justice system while on probation, pre-trial, on parole, or in prison. Others find us through local agencies, the school system or own their own.

Geographic areas served: Bridgeport, New Haven, Norwalk, Norwich, Stamford, Derby and at state correctional facilities throughout CT
Programs: Prevention – Youth Mentoring, Intervention – Domestic Violence Treatment & Education and Reentry.
