Causes: Human Service Organizations, Human Services
Mission: To build upon families' strengths, to empower parents and professionals to achieve the strongest possible outcomes for students with disabilities and to enhance the quality of life for children and young adults with disabilities.
Programs: To provide education and support to families of children with disabilities as well as to professionals in the field. In the fiscal year ended september 30, 2017, 40 trainings and 18 webinars were held throughout illinois, reaching 989 professionals, 1,039 parents, and 132 youth. Additionally, 4,086 individual contacts were made with parents, 5 individual contacts were made with youth, and 651 individual contacts were made with professionals.
