Referrals and support from social service agencies in jefferson and st lawrence counties contribute to the agency's ability to provide a wide range of behavioral health services to the region. The agency served approximately 600+ clients during 2010. Outcomes for these services are based on a reduction of crimes in the area and are not necessarily "finitely" measurable. However, studies indicate that prevention through counseling is a significant factor in reducing crime rates.
