The Faith and Recovery Network stood out in its holistic approach honoring both the spiritual and emotional aspects of healing. Through personal testimonies and engaging discussions the sessions are filled with honesty. encouragement. and hope. I highly recommend FRN to those seeking a community rooted in faith, understanding, and recovery.
I attended an addiction workshop FRN did recently for a local community organization. The workshop was great. The facilitators were knowledgeable about substance use disorder, I learn a lot that I wasn’t aware of even as some who works in the medical field. What I appreciated most was in the discussion sessions they really made us think about our own biases and feelings about addiction which I thought was a powerful way to explore stigma more intimately. I totally recommend FRN workshops to other community organizations that serve individuals battle addiction
I attended an addiction education workshop with Faith and Recovery through the church and i really enjoyed it. I learned a lot of the impact addiction has on the community and families not just the individual. One of the group leaders talked about “it is not a moral failing of the individual but a disorder that can benefit from treatment”. I think more churches need to learn that and that will minimize stigma and shame and more people will get help. The statistics and data Mr Merrill shared was heart breaking but we needed to know it. I took a lot of notes I learned a lot and their team created a very safe space for everyone there. Mr and Mrs Merrill are young people doing a great work. I recommend Faith And Recovery to any church who wants to learn about mental health and addiction or just want to learn how they can help.
I recently had the opportunity to attend a workshop hosted by The Faith and Recovery Network and was so amazed by the organization. Jordan and Autumn were extremely knowledgeable and offered practical and holistic ways to address issues related to and reduce stigma around addiction. I walked away with a better understand of how to support those struggling with addiction and ways to come together as a faith community in doing so.
I would 100% recommend utilizing this amazing organization to help your community learn ways they can deeper their understanding and support of our brother and sisters struggle with addiction.
Working in the nonprofit sector, it’s extremely valuable to have opportunities to expand our knowledge on mental health and addiction when working with the general public. Workshops like the ones provided by FRN are typically only accessible through some sort of membership or for a fee, but FRN provides in-depth sessions for free. Loved attending the session at Camden Fireworks in Camden NJ.
I had the incredible opportunity to sit in on one of Faith & Recovery Network’s workshops, and as someone in long-term recovery myself, I left feeling deeply supported, inspired, and seen.
This nonprofit is doing real, life-changing work for vulnerable individuals battling addiction and alcoholism. What sets them apart is their faith-based foundation and a holistic approach that reaches beyond just the surface. They don’t just talk recovery — they live it, breathe it, and walk alongside the people they serve.
The workshop was filled with insight and practical guidance. The content was easy to follow, yet rich with wisdom, making it accessible for anyone — whether you're new to recovery or walking the long road like I am. The team was warm, genuine, and clearly knowledgeable about the many paths to healing. They respect that recovery isn't one-size-fits-all and offer tools that speak to the heart, soul, and mind.
If you’re looking for a program or resource that is compassionate, faith-filled, and truly committed to walking with you through recovery, I can’t recommend Faith & Recovery Network enough. What they’re doing matters — and it’s making a difference.
