Mission: Fairview recovery services, inc. Is committed to delivering a continuum of services to individuals with the disease of alcoholism, chemical dependency and co-occurring conditions. These services are designed to provide individuals the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge to live independent, healthy and productive lives. We strive to deliver high quality care that is respectful of individual differences and needs.
Programs: Addictions stabilization center: the addictions stabilization center offers crisis services for both male and female clients from broome county and surrounding areas. Participation in this program is voluntary. The facility has a 20-bed capacity and is located at 247 court street, binghamton, ny. Funding is provided mostly through grants from oasas (through broome county) and through a small amount of rental income from dss, billing to managed medicaid companies, and other third parties. Primary care unit: provides services to persons who are intoxicated. Services include: 24 hour hot-line, medical referrals, counseling referrals, continuing care referrals. Extended care unit: a short-term structured program for the alcohol/chemically dependent person. Services include: case management, educational groups, medication assisted treatment, counseling, support group meetings, referrals to other levels of care, assistance with housing and public assistance benefits.
