Mission: The fair housing resource center, inc. Fhrc is a non-profit organization created to help promote equal housing opportunities for all persons, and to promote safe, decent and affordable housing in lake county through education and the involvement of the business community, government and the public.
Programs: Fhrc operates a landlord/tenant hot line service for county residents to assist them with their housing rights and a fair housing intake service for victims of housing discrimination. Fhrc is also a housing counseling agency certified by the u. S. Department of housing and urban development to provide homeowner counseling for foreclosure prevention, pre-purchase/post-purchase home buying, and other housing related matters.
