This charity is the brain child of couple close friends. Born in the corner of our local VFW they took a good idea & made an amazing charity of it. You never ever have to worry about where the money goes. They are an open book where everything they get goes straight to the hands of the homeless. They load up a bus with coats, boots, socks, gloves, hats, sleeping bags & tents & go straight to the source. There is no middle man. The donations go from your hands to theirs, to the homeless. If you are looking for a local, honest charity to support you have found it. Veterans helping veterans as far too many of our homeless are vets. No one should freeze to death in America & there guys are doing their best to make sure that doesn’t happen.
I have a personal love and appreciation for the subzero mission their fancy fire truck rolling around called the summer wind was once upon a time my fire truck and myy name is Summer wind. Knowing how much the help the community really inspires me and I am so honored to be apart of the sub zero Legacy. They are so generous and honest that they deserve all they campaign for.
I can't speak more highly to the work Sub Zero Mission is doing. I work in corporate philanthropy and they are an amazing organization to partner with. They take care of their volunteers and are some of the most welcoming people I know. I felt like I was part of their family from Day 1. Their mission is and impact is making the world a better place, more importantly they are bringing awareness to an issue that far too many people ignore.
Sub Zero Mission is an amazing organization that goes above and beyond to help the homeless stay ALIVE during the cold months. They also help veterans with empowering them with information needed for housing, jobs, etc. Being from a military family, this organization holds a a special place in my heart. Al and his team are selfless and do more than any nonprofit organization I’ve ever seen before.
Thank you, Sub Zero Mission, for all you do! Stay safe out there!!
