Mission: Events for a cause is established for the purpose of providing event planning resources exclusively to 501c3 and other federally designated non-profit organizations that do not have staff or volunteers with the expertise to manage complex fundraising events and related activities
Programs: Donated 16,000 to will county's habitat for humanity. Since its incorporation in 1988, habitat for humanity has built 53 houses in our community. This affordable housing program qualifies families earning 30 to 50 percent of the median income for our area. Habitat also loans the family the money to purchase the house. No profit is added to the house price and the loan has zero interest. Families must demonstrate the need for the habitat housing during their selection process.
donated $12,000 to stepping stones treatment and recovery center to provide women seeking assistance with the tools and counseling needed to overcome their addition
donated 16,000 to guardian angel community service which helped replace an outdated refrigerator in the shelter kitchen and also helped to purchase new beds.

Casa of will county works to ensure that all of the abused and neglected children served find safe and secure homes where they are able to recover from their past and look towards a brighter future. Casa acts as the child's voice in court, helping to navigate the confusing maze of the juvenile court system and making sure that the child's needs are met. More than 90% of the children served come from low-income families. Donations from individuals ensure that the children served receive the services they need free of cost. It costs casa $1,000 per child, per year to offer services.
