Mission: The organization's tax exempt purpose is to provide continuing legal education seminars ("workshops"). More particularly, through the development of comprehensive workshops and written materials, the organization will seek to foster and promote trial advocacy by improving each attendee lawyer's skills to effectively lead in the court room.
Programs: The organization intends to hold between two (2) and six (6) legal education workshops each year for participating lawyers. It is anticipated that the first workshop will be in bremerton, washington this november 8th to the 11th of 2017. After that, the organization plans to put on one (1) or two (2) workshops in the seattle area anually, with the balance of the workshops scattered around the country. The workshops will be 2-4 days in length on average. Any practicing lawyer or other legal professional may enroll in the workshop provided that teh attendee certifies that as a part of their legal practice he or she does not engage in either civil defense work or prosecution work. As a result, the organization anticipates limiting its workshops to those lawyers primarily engaged in work on behalf of plantiffs bar, and correspondingly, the organization intents to design each workshop around trial advocacy.
