Mission: Provide education, outreach and enrollment assistance for programs pursuant to the affordable care act and medicare savings programs, to help newly insured understand health insurance and better manage chronic illness.
Programs: Assisted 9,861 consumers directly to enroll in health insurance. Served over 300 consumers whose primary language is not english. Completed 1,069 applications, including 300 qualifying health plans (qhps), 587 completed arkansas works applications and 87 traditional medicaid applications. 769 enrolled in qhps and 743 in expanded medicaid. Assisted through outreach at 362 outreach events hosted or attended by 19,446. The outreach efforts included outreach to rehabilitation centers, food pantries and homeless shelters throught the state of arkansas.
