I have enjoyed working with enacte and has been a great learning platform for me on theatre activities. Looking forward to my continued association with enacte arts , I wish they well.
Enacte is an amazing performing arts organization, especially for children. Our daughter, who is in elementary school, enrolled in an Enacte summer camp during Covid. Enacte did a wonderful job of not just adapting to the pandemic through a remote camp, but they made the camp so engaging that our daughter was rooting to go back for more classes. She then became part of a production of the Jungle Book. Once again, Enacte navigated through the pandemic, handling extremely difficult production, logistics and rehearsal challenges. It resulted in a lovely production of Kipling’s classic. Our daughter learned a ton of valuable skills and formed great bonds with a group of wonderful people. She’s now back for another Enacte class on acting at her school and we plan to keep her fully involved with the organization for a long time to come.
They've committed to producing a wealth of diverse theatrical experiences and works through the pandemic and continue to developing material and lifting up new artists whose work needs to be seen.
I love the dedication that Enacte gives to supporting local artists. They put tireless effort into fostering artistry, diversity, creative expression, and teamwork for their community.
I was able to watch EnActe’s new play series during the pandemic. I particularly loved “Admission” by Anuvab Pal. I loved the cross cultural story telling, that was made available for everyone despite a pandemic.
EnActe's productions have an amazing variety and substance to them and are definitely not the run of the mill plays one might find elsewhere. They cater to a more intellectual audience, while taking into context current social issues. It is also great that they focus on South Asian stories and showcase them with a universal tone, in order to reach a broader audience.
Enacte has always displayed a magnificent spectacle of theatrics and drama in each of their productions. I feel engaged with the plays in a way that transcends the normal theatrical viewing experience. The cast members are chosen carefully, the script and direction is always on point.
Jungle Book, Bollywood Rules for Women, Sitayana, Art of the Possible, Letters to a Daughter, Discussions with various celebrities such as Divakaruni, Anita Ratnam, Tahira Kashyap, Guneet Monga were extemely engaging. Everything that Enacte (or Vinita) does demands perfection.
I highly recommend watching Enacte productions.
I started volunteering at EnActe back in 2016. I loved every show that EnActe presented and like to get involved in any way I could help. The little I knew that the volunteering and helping out at shows will change my carrier priorities. Currently, I am working at EnActe as an Operations Director. I could easily say that I found myself at EnActe.
EnActe is a place lead by wonderful and caring people and their shows are catered toward enlightening the society.

EnActe cares about it's craft and people. And they are excellent at what they do. They have created a wonderful forum for South Asians in the performing arts. They are prolific- they have a robust pipeline of theatre performances and it is wonderful to see them experiment in films. They are very supporting of their talent including young kids. Their school programs have had a great impact on youngsters in the community including my 10 year old daughter.
I really wanted to be in TJB. When I asked my mom she said "Sorry, All the actors are already there.'' 1 second later a mail came on my moms phone. It said 'Does your Kid want to be in TJB? We lost a monkey.' I saw it. Then my mom saw it. She typed 'OFF COURSE' with capitals :)
I enjoyed working with everyone in the TJB cine play and learned dance and my lines in 3 days.

I have been seeing every Enacte performance I can since it brought Jean-Claude Carrier from France to tell stories from the Mahabharata. Truly amazing, not only artistically and as a source of important stories, but as a sorely needed source of cultural understanding.
Enacte brings the best of South Asian stories to your community. I have collaborated with Enacte to bring theater classes for kids, adults and seniors at the community center I worked at. They are professionally run and we got positive feedback from all the attendees.
Highly recommend all the plays directed/produced by Enacte as well as the camps/workshops organized by them
EnActe Arts is a wonderful women led non-profit tackling South Asian issues through dramatic arts. My favorite piece this year was "The Parting" which brought together Noorani Dance and Enacte Arts to share the true stories of India's Partition in 1947 with amazing creativity, music, dance, and visuals. Enacte is a true gem in the Bay Area, and a integral voice to the South Asian Community!
