Programs: To represent members to ensure compliance with the administrative and monitoring requirements of the coalition group conditional waiver of waste discharge requirements for discharges from irrigated lands, order no. R5-2006-00053 as may be amended from time to time by the central valley regional water quality control board.
to encourage and foster the development of educational and outreach programs through public agencies and non-profit organizations that share the same or similar goals of this organization, to meet the needs of the members to be informed about practices that are conducive to meeting water quality goals.
to work in conjunction with the university of california cooperative extension service, resource conservation districts, natural resources conservation service, the el dorado county agriculture department and other public agencies in the development of methods and practices in farming and farm management to improve water quality.
to represent, protect and advance the interests of agricultural producers who own or manage irrigated lands in el dorado county.
to unite the farmers of the county in an organization for the promotion and protection of their common interest without regard to race, ethnicity, or political or religious affiliation.
