Nonprofit Overview

Mission: EGBOK (Everything’s Gonna Be OK) Mission is an international non-profit organization empowering young adults with the educational and vocational training needed to support themselves as hospitality professionals. EGBOK Mission’s goal is simple: empower young adults so they can lead independent lives with financial stability. EGBOK Mission recognizes the potential of the students they work with to support themselves—as well as their future families—through a solid foundation of education and training. They aim to help them gain independence as skilled, well-rounded individuals and equip them for success as leaders in hospitality.

Identify dozens of Cambodian students from numerous cities and villages, each of whom is passionate about developing skills and earning the education needed to join the country’s booming tourism and hospitality industry.

Bring in an intelligent and dedicated core of American and international volunteers from top universities to share their knowledge as educators and mentors.

Add the support of a growing network of fundraisers, plus partnerships with some of the world’s largest hotel chains.

EGBOK Mission focuses not only on immediate needs, but also on building skills and providing education to young adults in need, so they can work in the world and provide for themselves. It works with students who are eager to learn, but lack the opportunities afforded to many of their peers.

Because the core of EGBOK Mission is hospitality, the organization's underlying values of care, comfort and service shine through in its success. It prepares young people to do good in their worlds--and beyond.

EGBOK Mission educates young people in developing countries around the world to help them hone the skills to develop careers in the hospitality industry.

The nonprofit throws amazing fundraisers in major cities around the U.S. to help raise awareness around the educational needs of young people and the value of their mission. In the past two years they have had fundraisers in Chicago, San Diego, New York and Seattle.

They also engage their social media followers with fun contests to help people get involved. They recently had a t-shirt design contest which attracted lots of fun designs.

After experiencing EGBOK Mission's field work first hand, I saw the outstanding impact it is making on the local communities it serves. EGBOK Mission is sponsoring underprivileged students from all over Cambodia to study at the best hospitality schools in the country- opening endless doors for their futures.
